Meet our Director of Environmental, Safety, and Health services, Foshie Bell. Mr. Bell is a 2000 graduate of New York City University, Queens College, with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Industrial Hygiene studies. A registered environmental manager (REM), he has 32 years’ of experience in the environmental remediation, construction, healthcare, and occupational safety & health industries. Of the 32 years, he possesses over two decades of project management and managerial experience in the occupational safety and health field (manufacturing, warehousing, logistics), and 3-years in the healthcare environment providing HLAC standards compliance.
Several of his experiences include long-term project work in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Hugo and work in New Orleans following the Katrina and Rita hurricane catastrophes. Additionally, Mr. Bell has managed occupational safety & health programs at client sites throughout the continental United States, including such high-profile clientele as the Center for Disease and Control and Prevention (environmental), Monsanto (research), GlaxoSmithKline (GMP profile), Wells Fargo (financial), Nike (warehousing/distribution), P.A.R. Pharmaceutical, Medtronic (research and medical tooling), Mondi Jackson (labeling), Proctor & Gamble (research and manufacturing), Kershaw Manufacturing (special railroad manufacturing), and others.
As part of Mr. Bell’s community engagement initiative, he provides American Red Cross Adult and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED training to community groups; teaches the science of Molecular Thermodynamics at Interactive College of Technology (ICT); and is a member of the Barrow County Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT).
