Among the various courses OHST offers, its American Red Cross (ARC) compliant adult and infant CPR/1st Aid/AED class is among the more popular. Taught by one of our ARC-certified instructors, OHST provides an in-depth, fully interactive course that emphasizes implementation over regurgitation of facts.

Our goal is to ensure the rescuer is confident enough to size-up emergency incidences and act, if needed. To that end, we focus learning the concept, then putting the concepts learned into situational practice exercises.

Our instructors trained over 200-participants since the onset of COVID-19 alone, all while practicing social distancing and universal precautionary measures. As a former Industrial Hygienist, our Director of Environmental , Safety & Health  Services ensures the highest caliber of cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of all training materials used. This practice is engaged throughout the training process (before, during and after). All training materials are disinfected with an EPA-approved viricide to protect the health of the course participants. Additionally, participants are monitored prior to entering the class to increase the protection of their peers.

Upon successful completion of the 8-hour class, graduating participants will receive a certificate of completion, set in a wall mountable frame, and American Red Cross card good for 2-years.
